A wonderful time was had by all at our Pickwick Cream Tea, held at the start of September in the beautiful setting of a walled garden, with the sunny weather that we had ordered!
The delectable cakes and scones, accompanied by lashings of clotted cream and jam, were all handmade by our amazing Pickwick Association social committee, and served on the Association’s very own beautiful vintage china! There was also a fantastic raffle, with all prizes being donated by local residents, and there was even some refreshing Prosecco for sale.
It was great to see so many people there and the event raised £656 for Pickwick Association funds, which helps us support local initiatives
We'd like to say a big thank you to all those who attended, bought raffle tickets, donated the raffle prizes and lent garden furniture and tablecloths. And, of course, a HUGE thank you to the Pickwick Association social committee for organising it and doing all that amazing baking!
